Pregnancy Testing: Get the Answers You Need
A late period or a sudden change in how your body feels can cause a rush of emotions. Whether you are hoping for a positive result or feeling completely overwhelmed by the possibility of being pregnant, the uncertainty can be paralyzing.
You deserve to move forward with confidence and clarity. Sometimes, taking a home pregnancy test can leave you with more questions than answers: Did I take it too early? Did I read the lines correctly? Is it a false positive?
That is why we offer highly accurate, medical grade pregnancy testing in a warm, judgment-free, and confidential environment. You don't have to navigate this alone.
Are You Experiencing Pregnancy Symptoms?
While a missed period is often the most common indicator of pregnancy, every woman’s body reacts differently. Some women experience symptoms within a few days of conception, while others may not notice anything for weeks.
Common early signs of pregnancy include:
- A missed or unusually light period
- Swollen or tender breasts
- Nausea, food aversions, or "morning sickness" (which can happen at any time of day)
- Unusual fatigue or exhaustion
- Frequent urination
- Light spotting or cramping
- Mood swings
Because many of these symptoms can also be related to stress, diet changes, or the approach of your normal menstrual cycle, a pregnancy test is the only way to know for sure.
How Does Our Testing Work?
Our highly sensitive, medical grade pregnancy tests are designed to detect the presence of hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin). This is the hormone your body produces exclusively during pregnancy.
When you come in for your appointment, a compassionate professional will walk you through the process. We will ask a few simple questions about your health history, such as the first day of your last period, to ensure enough time has passed for hCG to build up in your system and provide an accurate result.
The test requires a simple urine sample and provides rapid results. You won't have to wait days in agonizing suspense—you will receive your results during your appointment.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the testing cost? Our pregnancy testing is a completely complimentary service. We provide it to you at absolutely zero cost, and no copay is ever expected.
Do I need to bring my insurance card? No. Because all of our services are free of charge, you do not need insurance, and we will not ask you for proof of insurance.
Are my results confidential? Absolutely. We take your privacy very seriously. Your appointment, your test results, and any conversations you have with our staff are strictly confidential. We provide a safe space where you control who you share your information with. All information is confidential except as required or permitted by law.
How should I prepare for my appointment? There is no special preparation required. We simply ask that you are ready to provide a urine sample. You may want to sip some water before you arrive, but please avoid over-hydrating, as drinking too much liquid can dilute your urine sample and affect the test's accuracy.
What If My Test is Positive?
If your test comes back positive, take a deep breath. We are here to support you in your next steps.
A positive pregnancy test is an indicator of pregnancy, but it does not tell you everything you need to know. Your next vital step is to have a limited obstetric ultrasound. An ultrasound will confirm whether the pregnancy is viable (developing normally in the uterus) and determine exactly how far along you are. Up to 1 in 4 pregnancies naturally end in miscarriage, and an ultrasound will let you know if a pregnancy is actually progressing.
After your test, our caring staff will sit down with you to discuss your results, offer an ultrasound if it is determined that you qualify, and provide evidence-based information on all of your options: parenting, adoption, and abortion. We are here to answer your questions and provide the resources you need to make an empowered, informed decision.
